About the Role
You’ll be joining a company making over £10,000 a month in profit! As Director of Business Development, you will be responsible for driving new revenue through strategic partnerships, advertiser acquisition, affiliate growth, and commercial expansion. You’ll work closely with the company director to shape go-to-market direction and improve how we identify, pitch, negotiate, and onboard new opportunities. You’ll even become a shareholder!

Develop strong relationships with advertisers, affiliates, platforms, and strategic commercial partners.
Commercial Leadership
Lead negotiations, improve pipeline quality, and help shape how the business wins in competitive markets.

What You’ll Own
- Build and manage a high-quality pipeline of new business opportunities.
- Identify and approach prospective advertisers, publishers, and strategic partners via LinkedIn automation.
- Lead outreach, pitches, negotiations, and deal structuring.
- Develop partnership strategies to increase revenue, retention, and account value.
- Work closely with the director to ensure smooth onboarding and launch of new partners.
- Track commercial performance and recommend optimisations based on market response.

What We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate combines sales instinct, strategic thinking, commercial discipline, and excellent communication skills. We’re looking for someone with intuition, who can manage their own day and is fully in charge of their workload and development.
Experience
Proven track record in business development, partnerships, or commercial growth roles.
Industry Knowledge
Experience in LinkedIn automation, CRMs (preferably Salesforce), digital performance, or related sectors is highly desirable.
Negotiation Skills
Confident managing outreach, objections, commercial discussions, and long-cycle deal progression.
Leadership Mindset
A self-starter who can bring ideas, ownership, structure, and momentum without needing heavy oversight.
Ideal Background
- 2+ years of experience in a senior BD, partnerships, or sales leadership role. Knowledge in DuxSoup automation would be beneficial.
- Strong commercial judgement and a results-focused mindset.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable with outbound prospecting and strategic account growth.
- Experience using CRMs (Salesforce), reporting tools, and pipeline management systems.
Bonus Points
- Existing network across affiliate, lead gen, insurance, legal, finance, or performance marketing sectors.
- Live locally for regular in-person meet-ups to discuss business growth.
- Ability to spot untapped verticals and commercial opportunities early.
- Strong understanding of margin, payout models, and partner economics.
